Description

Celebrate the Sun!
Queen Alexandra Community League Hall is now among the first Edmonton community halls to meet 100% of its electrical needs from the SUN! Thanks, Sun! and to celebrate we are hosting a free afternoon of knowledge, fun, demonstrations and opportunities. Great eco–door prizes and raspberry seedlings to good homes, too.

On Sunday, June 25 start your afternoon with a family picnic at our hall grounds, 10425 University Avenue (south of Mount Carmel School 105 St/76 Ave., near Scona High School and Rollie Miles Field) Outdoor picnic tables available.

At 1pm we begin our formal activities in two categories:

For the kids—a Bouncy Castle, solar crafts (sundial, melted crayon window hanging, sunscreen artwork) with great solar cookies to munch. Solar Snacks and Drinks are available.

For the adults—there are informative presentations regarding initiatives, funding and services with time for questions:
