Community Solar

Solar energy systems in the form of modules installed on a single home or business, or as row upon row of panels in a public utility, are not the only options for those interested in solar electricity generation.

Community solar projects enable community members to share a partial stake in owning, leasing, or using electricity from a solar PV array. Community solar projects can be more financially and physically accessible than traditional rooftop installations, and offer economies of scale to compete with retail electricity prices.
